Del Sur
Del Sur is a Master-Planned community within the city limits of San Diego. The community is situated within the 4,677 acres of Black Mountain Ranch. There are 18 miles of trails that connect Del Sur to the beauty of Black Mountain. It is a 2.5 mile hike to the 1,554 foot summit of Black Mountain. From there you get a 360 degree view of the ocean to downtown.
Del Sur is part of the Poway School District. Currently schools for Del Sur are:
Del Sur Elementary, grades k-5
Oak Valley Middle School, grades 6-8
Del Norte High School, grades 9-12
Within Del Sur there are neighborhood parks. Five of the parks have solar heated swimming pools.
