Yesterday, there were 10 homes for sale on the brokers’ tour in Rancho Bernardo. I managed to see 7 of the homes.
The first three properties I saw were homes in the 55+ communities. They were all located in the Oaks North neighborhood. Prices of the homes I saw ranged from $450k to almost $600k. As of this morning there are 15 detached homes available in the 55+ communities in Rancho Bernardo with listing prices of $340k to $645k for homes ranging in size from about 1,200 to 1,900 square feet. I liked all 3 homes I saw. Rancho Bernardo is a great place for retirement.
The next home I saw was located in north Ranch Bernardo in the Montelena subdivision. The home was very nice it felt updated. It has a beautiful wood banister on the staircase and great flooring. The seller has very large furniture. Sometimes its better to store your large furniture when you are selling your home. Buyers can’t always judge the size of an area when the room is filled with big bulky furniture. The home is good-sized at 2,900 square feet. The home also had a large private backyard.
Home #5 located in the Greens and what a surprise. When I walked up I was expecting the typical 1960′s home. But when I opened the front door I was greeted by a very nicely remodeled home. It had a great feel modern feeling throughout.
The Eastview subdivision was my next stop. I love Eastview. Some of the lots have spectacular views. Unfortunately this home didn’t have that type of view but the home is very nice and it just had a $20k price reduction. There are currently 5 detached homes available in Eastview with prices ranging from $540k to $650k.
The final home I saw was in Carmel Mountain Ranch was priced in the low to mid $500k’s. It’s a 2 story, 3 bedroom with 2.5 baths It had a very private back yard.
